About 200 participants from 22 countries (the majority in Eastern Europe) came to the second International Conference on the Organic Sector Development in Central/Eastern European and Central Asian Countries. The venue where this successful event was held on 10 and 11 September 2009 was the Agricultural University of Tbilisi in Georgia.

ICEA, represented by Michela Coli, International Certification manager, was the only Italian speaker invited in the Conference. Her presentation was about the possibility to export local organic products to EU.

Great audience outcome and interest for ICEA activities, that is operative in these areas, so relevant for the organic, mainly with  ICEA Romania (Costanza, Romania) and ICEA Group (Chisinau, Moldova)
