Icea certified cosmetic product is a value that must be passed on to the consumer. This is the assumption underlying the Valu-Cert Award, launched by Icea and destined to its controlled companies, for the best forms of communication to the public of the concept of certification in organic cosmetics and natural cosmetics. The initiative also includes a recognition to companies that in the past two years have obtained the best results in inspections.
Acknowledgments in this first edition will be conferred on September 8 within the framework of SANA (International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products) in Bologna, during the Conference: "Optimize the investment of certification-hypotheses and proposals to get a greater return from certification".
Certification Icea perception by consumers is one of the most important aspects for companies, which share the values of natural and environmentally friendly cosmetics, that have chosen to undergo certification, and constitutes the added value compared to a non certified cosmetic.
For this reason, Icea, in collaboration with Studio SviMM & Sviluppo & Marketing FARMAFFARI of Rome, specialized in communication and advertising, have established the Valu-Cert Award for best communication to consumers on the value of certification, and also the Special Prize "Total Quality" for companies that respect the standard Organic cosmetics and Natural cosmetics.
The selection will be carried out through the assessment of one of the following communication products:
• advertising communication conveyed through at least one media
• an informational paper brochure
• a newsletter, made also available esclusively on internet
• a full label, of at least one product
highlighting the fact that the company and/or the products are equipped with Organic Cosmetics and Natural Cosmetics certification and, therefore, the user of a cosmetic is guaranteed, not only for the quality of the product, but also for the company's commitment to the development of formulations complying the maximum respect for human health and the environment.
Also will be assessed the additional certification schemes (social, ethical, environmental, etc.) that the company has introduced over the past two years.
Participate in the contest is easy and free, just send the material via e-mail to the address email@example.com. All companies that have joined the initiative, that have accepted a standard for more restrictive and costly production, to help make the use of the cosmetic product ever safer and in harmony with the principles of environmental sustainability, will be mentioned in the poster designed for the general public and distributed within the framework of SANA, and will be published on sector journals, as shown in the annex. . The winning companies will receive the trophy "ICEA Organic Cosmetics", a certificate of recognition and they will also be included for free on the Guide and on the website FARMAFFARI and on the Business Directory of CYBERMED for a year and may enter for free search and find products ads, company branches etc. in the Market Place of FARMAFFARI.
