BiolMiel, the international prize for the best organic honey, is back. The third edition is as usual held in Sicily, this time at the Convitto Cutelli in Catania, from the 5th to the 8th of December. The event, that is also an occasion to meet producers and technicians of the sector and to discuss and support organic and sustainable farming, is promoted by ICEA together with CRA (Research Unit for Apiculture and Silkworm Culture) and C.i.Bi., Italian Consortium for Organic – organizer and owner of BIOL trademark, with the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce of Catania and AgriBioMediterraneo.
Applications can be sent until the deadline of 15th November 2010; samples of honey and the filled Application Form must be sent to the following address:

To all participating honeys will be issued a declaration of participation, while to the best ones will be also issued a “BIOL HIGH QUALITY” certification, recognized only to honeys that reach the highest standards.
