Icea is the first western certification body to be accredited in Moldova, a country were the Ethical and Environmental Certification Institute is already active since sometimes. Two are the most recent local initiatives: first of all, on the occasion of the accreditation there was a meeting between Icea and local operators. The chairman of the meeting was the Ministry of Agriculture of the Moldova Republic  Anatolie Gorodenco. For Icea were present the  vice-president Marianella Mutti, Aldo Cervi, and Giovanni Matteotti.

The second event was within MoldExpo, the most important agricultural exhibition in Chisinau (Moldova), were Icea was present in the pavilion "Piazza Italia". On the occasion it was held a seminar on the topic “Agricultural development perspectives in Moldova”, to which took part also the Moldavian vice-minister and our new Italian ambassador, Stefano di Leo. Opportunities and the perspectives of organic agriculture were presented by Giovanni Matteotti, president of Icea Group Moldova.
