Also who works in the catering sector and offers meals prepared with organic products must undergo the control needed to obtain certification and to declare that organic meals are served.

Other voluntary certification

The voluntary certifications to be added to EC Reg. 2092/91 can be the following:
1) Product certification
Guarantees the respect of specific product, process or service requirements
• requirements of supplied materials (all fruits and vegetables, pasta, etc. organic or a certain  % on the whole volume
• national and local origin of some foods (olive oil, meat, etc.)
• production chain traceability
• non-GMOs (for conventional products)
• controls and planned systematic analysis
• particular characteristics of the product
• products coming from Fair Trade
2) System certification
• ISO 9000 (Quality management) - in partnership with CSQA
• ISO 14000 (Environmental management) - in partnership with CSQA
• SA 8000 (Social accountability on the working place) – thank to an agreement with CISE (Center for Innovation and Economic Development – Special Company of the Chambers of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena)
ICEA proposed its control services  (second party audit) on large range of products and services and on the whole national territory, both for Public Administration and for private companies.
We are able to manage control plans, sample taking and analysis useful to verify the respect of the contract requirements and of the self-control plans of the tendering companies.
These activities can be coupled with training and consulting activities.
