The voluntary certifications to be added to EC Reg. No. 834/07 can be the following:

1) Product certification
Guarantees compliance to the requirements for the specific product, process or service
• requirements for supplied materials (all fruits and vegetables, pasta, etc. fully organic or a certain  percentage of the whole volume;
• national and local origin of some foods (olive oil, meat, etc.);
• production chain traceability;
• non-GMOs (for conventional products);
• controls and planned systematic analysis;
• particular characteristics of the product
• products coming from Fair Trade 

2) System certification
• ISO 9000 (Quality management) - in partnership with CSQA
• ISO 14000 (Environmental management) - in partnership with CSQA
• SA 8000 (Social accountability in the work place) – thanks to an agreement with CISE (Center for Innovation and Economic Development – Special Company of the Chambers of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena)

ICEA proposes its control services  (second party audit) for a large range of products and services and on the whole national territory, for both Public Administration and private companies.


We are able to execute control plans, manage sample taking and analysis useful for the verification the respect of compliance to contract requirements and of the self-management plans of applicant companies.
These activities can be combined with training and consultation.
